Our client is a is a global dairy company headquartered in the Netherlands. It produces a wide range of dairy products, including milk, cheese, butter, and nutritional products, and operates in over 100 countries. The company is a cooperative owned by thousands of dairy farmers, ensuring a strong focus on sustainability and quality throughout its supply chain.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical reliability of our cheese packaging and slicing facility. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to perform planned maintenance and repair activities, and play a key role in keeping our production equipment in top condition.
Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical components of production machines.

Participate in daily maintenance team meetings to review past 24-hour performance and divide tasks.

Work closely with more experienced technicians to learn on the job through hands-on experience.

Contribute to improvement and investment projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Ensure accurate administrative reporting of completed maintenance activities.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth restarts after maintenance.

Support and adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Participate in a monthly Saturday shift (not on-call; extra working day included in salary package).
Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in maintenance or repair work.

Skilled in working with both mechanical and electrical systems, and comfortable using maintenance tools or software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work under pressure and restart machines smoothly after maintenance.
- Willing to work one Saturday shift per month (included in salary)

Good communication and teamwork skills, reliable, stress-resistant, and open to learning on the job with support from senior colleagues
