Role Description
This position involves working in a 24/7 shift environment within a GMP-regulated setting, focusing on both production and utility systems. Join a specialized technical team supporting a new production facility in Leiden, with additional responsibilities at a nearby site in Sassenheim.

Responsibilities
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
-Maintain and operate production and utility equipment
-Work with systems like fermentation, purification, chromatography, and filtration
-Collaborate with Utility Operators, Engineers, and external specialists
-Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and regulatory standards
-Support preventive maintenance, improvement projects, and documentation
-Participate in team meetings and work from English-language documentation

Education & Experience
-MBO Level 4 Technician (Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent
-Minimum 3–5 years experience in a similar industrial maintenance role
-Background in electrical/instrumentation is essential (mechanical knowledge is a plus)
-Experience in GMP/pharmaceutical or food production environments preferred
-Valid driver’s license (B)
Certifications & Skills
-VCA and NEN3140 certification or similar (EHS/electrical safety)
-Knowledge of work permits, LOTO procedures, and technical supervision
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Team player with a proactive and results-driven mindset
-English proficiency (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus
