Brand Manager (24 hours/week) – Temporary Role
About the Client
Our client is a globally recognized leader in the FMCG industry, known for their innovative approach and commitment to quality. With a strong presence in the confectionery sector, they continue to drive brand success across multiple markets. This role is based in Veghel, with occasional travel to Brussels.
About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to cover a maternity leave for approximately 3.5 months. You will oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and brand activations for well-known confectionery brands in the Netherlands and Belgium. This is a part-time role (24 hours/week), hybrid (50/50 remote and on-site), requiring occasional travel to Brussels (once per month). The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP until the end of June.
Responsibilities
-Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, social, and traditional media channels.
-Oversee campaign timelines, liaise with agencies, and manage project details to ensure smooth execution.
-Lead brand activations, including in-store displays, POS materials, promotions, and events.
-Ensure brand messaging is effectively communicated across consumer and retail touchpoints.
-Adapt regional marketing content to align with brand guidelines and resonate with local audiences.
-Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer marketing, activity teams) to support product launches and promotions.
-Manage budgets, track expenses, and handle administrative tasks such as POs and invoices.
Requirements
-Education: Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-Experience: 3-5+ years in brand management, marketing execution, or related fields. FMCG experience is required, confectionery experience is a plus.
-Strong project management and campaign execution skills.
-Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
-Strong analytical mindset to assess campaign performance.
-Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
-Proficiency in SAP, Fiori, Ariba, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
