Role Overview
We are looking for a Shift Manager Logistics to lead a team of 20-25 employees in a three-shift operation within the logistics department. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure smooth logistical processes, and focus on improving workflows and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
-Supervise the execution of logistical processes, including cheese reception, pre-processing, dispatch, and warehouse operations.
-Lead a team of 20-25 employees within a three-shift system.
-Implement and monitor measures for handling deviations and incidents.
-Participate in Daily Control Logistics and contribute to the PCS structure rollout.
-Manage workforce planning and oversee absence management.
-Work according to the WCOM methodology, lead improvement teams, analyze deviations, and encourage improvement proposals.
-Maintain order and cleanliness in logistics departments while ensuring adherence to rules and procedures.
-Foster a constructive working relationship with fellow team leaders and various departments.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
-At least three years of leadership experience in a production and/or logistics environment, preferably in the food industry.
-Experience with project management and improvement methodologies (WCM, TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).
-Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
-Strong leadership, motivation, and coaching abilities.
-Ability to balance strategic objectives with daily operations.
Additional Information
