Senior Mechatronics Engineer, Breda, Noord-Brabant

Responsibilities
-Deploy new products, system upgrades, and equipment in state-of-the-art labelling and packaging lines.
-Manage projects of varying complexity, ensuring high-quality deployment with asset lifecycle in mind.
-Act as the mechatronics expert for maintenance, engineering, and project teams.
-Provide second-line support for complex mechatronics issues on the shop floor.
-Investigate and resolve complex process or equipment-related problems with structured troubleshooting.
-Plan and execute all maintenance and engineering-related tasks within assigned projects.
-Develop test protocols, perform technical evaluations, and submit assessment reports.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors (Equipment Engineering, Automation, Digital, Validation, QA, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).

Requirements
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
-7+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 5+ years in an operations/manufacturing environment.
-Strong expertise in mechatronics and analytical troubleshooting.
-Experience in project management techniques, preferably in CAPEX projects.
-Direct experience in regulated environments (GMP, OSHA, EPA).
-Willingness to occasionally work outside office hours.
-Fluency in English (oral and written); basic Dutch skills preferred.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
