Role Overview:
As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a key role in deploying new products, system upgrades, and equipment within advanced labeling and packaging lines. You will serve as the go-to expert for mechatronics, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality implementation with a focus on asset lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement new products, system upgrades, and equipment.
- Provide expertise in mechatronics for maintenance and project teams.
- Support technicians with complex issues and troubleshoot problems.
- Plan and execute maintenance and engineering tasks.
- Conduct technical evaluations and write reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in manufacturing.
- Strong mechatronics knowledge and project management experience.
- Experience in regulated environments (GMP, OSHA, EPA).
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Fluent in English; basic Dutch is a plus.
- Willingness to work outside office hours occasionally.
