Role Description
As a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer, you’ll lead electrical and instrumentation design, troubleshooting, and project execution for cutting-edge industrial and chemical operations. You’ll drive engineering excellence by delivering high-quality designs, managing project budgets and timelines, and collaborating across maintenance, operations, and R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and justify detailed E&I design concepts.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Lead project teams and external contractors through design to commissioning.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and improvement initiatives.
- Communicate engineering solutions to internal stakeholders.
- Support plant reliability and performance improvements through proactive engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or similar.
- 7+ years of Industry experience (preferably (petro)chemical or industrial).
- Strong knowledge of Codes & Standards (ATEX, EMC, IEC, NEN).
- Affinity with instrumentation, electrical systems, and automation.
- Skilled in safety systems (SIL, SIS) and process automation.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; flexible, analytical, and customer-focused.
