Beijing International Education Institute (BIEI) was established in 2004. Its predecessor was the Office for International Education of the China Scholarship for International Education of the China Scholarship Council. To meet the growing demand for international education in China, the Office for International Education was restructured and changed its name to BIEI.
BIEI is committed to introducing high-quality foreign education resources into China and integrating them into top Chinese educational institutions by running international education programs. BIEI offers first-rate services in the areas of collaborative education, consulting and investment.
BIEI has developed rapidly and grown into an organization with six branches spanning three continents: BIEI Headquarters in Beijing, BIEI Shanghai, BIEI Wuhan, BIEI London, BIEI New York and BIEI Chicago. BIEI is the ideal medium for communication and cooperation between Chinese and foreign institutions of higher learning.
BIEI consists of the following divisions: the Business Development Department of International Cooperation & Exchange; the Department of Academic Resources & Project Support; the Orient Office for Studying Abroad; the China Representative Office for Foreign Universities; the Project Management Center; the Finance Department and the Administration Office.
