The Role
As a Manufacturing (MFG) Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing manufacturing processes through Systech systems and other automation technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and compliance within the production environment. Your expertise will be essential in integrating Vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA into existing operations, ensuring seamless functionality.
Key Responsibilities
-Design and develop automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
-Integrate and maintain Systech systems within the production environment.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
-Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automated systems.
-Document and train staff on new automation processes and systems.
-Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in automation solutions.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-3+ years of experience in automation engineering within a manufacturing environment.
-Strong expertise in Systech systems (must-have).
-Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and Vision systems (highly preferred).
-Proven ability to integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across teams.
-Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
