Role Description:We are looking for a Technical Work Planner - Production & Maintenance to join the factory in Leerdam, where there is package premium Dutch cheeses that are distributed worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of technical maintenance and process improvements to keep our production running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate maintenance work, ensuring timely execution while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Estimate work scope, required man-hours, lead time, costs, materials, and necessary procedures.

Coordinate with mechanics, production teams, and external contractors to align on work schedules.

Ensure all required permits are in place before work begins.

Monitor the availability of materials and tools to prevent delays.

Track work progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure smooth communication across teams.

Process administrative tasks such as checking invoices, maintaining technical documentation, and updating supplier contracts.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for preventive maintenance.

Relevant experience in a similar role within the process industry.

Strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related fields.

Familiarity with maintenance management systems such as Ultimo or SAP.

Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., WCOM, LEAN, Six Sigma).

Ability to work proactively and with strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

A practical mindset—diplomas are less important than hands-on experience and the ability to perform the job well.
