Role Description
Our client is looking for a Shift Manager Logistics to lead a team of 20-25 employees in a three-shift system within the logistics department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring smooth logistics processes, and focusing on improving collaboration and work structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the logistics process (cheese reception, pre-processing, dispatch, and warehouses).
  • Lead and manage a team of 20-25 employees.
  • Monitor performance and take corrective actions for deviations or incidents.
  • Participate in Daily Control Logistics and roll out the PCS structure.
  • Manage staff planning and sick leave guidance.
  • Implement WCOM methodology, lead improvement teams, and drive process improvements.
  • Ensure clean and organized logistics departments, enforcing compliance with procedures.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and various departments to improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • HBO-level education (Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field).
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in production and/or logistics (food industry is a plus).
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar improvement methods.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategy with daily operations and solve problems effectively.
