Role DescriptionAs the Senior Manager of the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) group, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with GMP and EH&S regulations, managing capital projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance operational efficiency within Amgen’s production environment
Responsibilities
-Develop and implement maintenance plans ensuring compliance with GMP procedures and regulations.
-Oversee capital projects and manage the departmental budget for optimal resource allocation.
-Lead the Maintenance & Engineering team, ensuring high-quality operations and fostering continuous improvement.
-Utilize Maximo for maintenance management, tracking equipment status, spare parts, and preventive maintenance.
-Drive EH&S compliance by ensuring a safe work environment and addressing unforeseen issues like equipment breakdowns.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing risk assessments and ensuring effective communication.
Requirements
-7+ years in an industrial environment, with at least 5 years in management or project management.
-Experience in a pharmaceutical/GMP environment and managing capital projects.
-Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-Proficiency with Maximo and maintenance management systems.
