Role Description
As a Global Clinical Study Supply Planner, you will play a key role in planning and coordinating clinical supply operations for global trials. You will be responsible for managing demand and supply planning, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of investigational products across multiple countries. This role requires collaboration with global stakeholders, proactive risk management, and data-driven decision-making to support critical research milestones.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage supply planning for multiple global clinical studies
- Forecast study demand and adjust system settings accordingly
- Coordinate packaging and labeling orders to meet evolving study needs
- Ensure on-time supply availability across all clinical sites
- Monitor expiry risks and manage inventory to minimize waste
- Collaborate with study managers, logistics, quality, and operational teams
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues impacting clinical timelines
- Represent planning in cross-functional meetings and improvement projects
- Maintain and operate planning tools (SAP, Forecasting System, dashboards)
- Support GMP compliance through documentation and procedural updates
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in clinical or pharmaceutical supply planning
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Advanced skills in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines in clinical supplies
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and process
