The Role
As a Mechanical Materials Specialist, you will be instrumental in advancing material knowledge to design and enhance innovative product solutions. Your work will contribute to the development of products that positively impact the lives of millions of people around the world.

Responsibilities
-Manage and oversee all resources required for metallography and materials testing laboratories.
-Handle requests from internal teams for analyses, investigations, and consultancy regarding materials.
-Identify and prepare product and material samples for testing or investigative purposes.
-Research and explore new or alternative materials to enhance product designs.
-Perform root cause analysis of material failures in products, both during development and aftermarket release.
-Design and carry out experiments to investigate the causes of deviations and failures in materials.
-Collaborate with internal experts to develop and refine material models for process simulations.
-Draft functional specifications for test equipment and tooling to support the industrialization of testing processes within the supply chain.
-Present and explain research findings to internal stakeholders, facilitating design improvements.

Requirements
-Master’s degree in Material Science (preferably with experience in Stainless Steels).
-We encourage entry-level candidates to apply, though applicants with prior lab experience are also welcome.
-Eagerness to learn and grow in material science.
-Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, proactivity, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong communication skills to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
