Role Description
As an Equipment Engineer you will support the Device Assembly, Inspection, Labeling, and Packaging operations. You will play a key role in the design, installation, and life cycle management of equipment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure peak performance, compliance, and safety in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Scope and lead technical projects supporting manufacturing operations.
- Oversee equipment design, installation, and performance across its lifecycle.
- Improve productivity and safety through equipment optimization and troubleshooting.
- Create detailed design documentation: URS, FDS, HDS, and DS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure equipment designs meet standards.
- Resolve equipment issues and contribute to root cause investigations.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and other safety/environmental regulations.
- Support documentation and protocol development (e.g., URS, FDS).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience, including in manufacturing or operations preferably in a pharmaceutical or automated packaging environment.
- Strong understanding of equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., GMP, OSHA).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
