The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Manager of Technical Services with a strong technical foundation and an innovative mindset. In this role, you will support the development, optimization, and implementation of robust filling and packing technologies with a focus on safety, performance, and cost-efficiency. You will bridge engineering principles with hands-on technical execution, lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, and play a key role in ensuring that equipment and technologies align with regulatory standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities
-Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop, improve, and challenge engineering concepts for filling and packing equipment.
-Drive the initiation, testing, monitoring, and implementation of new or enhanced equipment, ensuring smooth transition into operational environments.
-Assist in the early planning and scoping of projects (front-end loading) and actively participate in the commissioning and start-up phases of Capex projects.
-Evaluate emerging technologies and propose solutions aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and sustainability in operations.
-Lead or actively contribute to technology projects, managing or supporting sub-streams, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
-Work cross-functionally with teams from R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure successful integration of technology initiatives.
-Maintain strict adherence to food safety and quality regulations, including HACCP and GMP standards, throughout the project lifecycle.
-Provide expert training and practical support to ensure smooth system integration and operational success.

Requirements
-A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within the dairy or food packaging sector.
-In-depth knowledge of machine engineering, packaging automation, and materials technology.
-Familiarity with various food packaging formats (primary, secondary, tertiary) and relevant technologies.
-Experience with SAP and Power BI is an advantage.
-Proven experience in problem-solving and leading continuous improvement efforts within filling and packing operations.
-Fluent in English.
