About the role
The Fill & Pack Technology Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency, and compliance in filling and packaging operations. Combining scientific insight, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration, you will design, optimize, and implement high-performance packaging technologies to support product excellence and cost efficiency across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineering & Innovation
    Design and optimize fill & pack equipment with internal and external partners, ensuring safety and operational standards.

  • Technology Development
    Lead packaging tech from concept to handover, including design, testing, and validation.

  • CapEx Projects
    Support early-stage planning and participate in commissioning and start-up for smooth tech integration.

  • Tech Scouting
    Identify and assess new technologies that enhance quality, reduce costs, or boost sustainability.

  • Project Management
    Drive or support technology projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    Align tech solutions with business strategy by working with R&D, production, quality, and more.

  • Compliance
    Ensure adherence to food safety and industry regulations like HACCP and GMP.

  • Training & Support
    Provide expertise and training on systems, tools, and best practices.

 Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the dairy or food packaging industry.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, equipment design, and optimization.

  • In-depth knowledge of packaging machinery, automation, and materials.

  • Expertise in quality assurance, food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).

  • Familiarity with primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proven ability to lead or contribute to cross-functional project teams.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, quality control, and documentation tools.
