Regional Finance & Accounting Lead – Benelux, Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland

Role Description:
An exciting opportunity has opened within our clients Benelux Controlling Team. We are looking for a Financial Accounting Manager who will be the key guardian of the integrity of the financial books for the Benelux. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the company's value and is instrumental in leading accounting excellence and driving finance transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting (Group, Statutory, Tax)

• Lead end-to-end financial process improvements

• Oversee external/internal audits and compliance with GFCF and Global Process Model

• Implement global accounting standards and contribute to major business transformation projects

• Lead local accounting aspects of strategic projects and system integrations

• Supervise a team of 3 assistant managers, fostering collaboration across departments including Tax, Legal, Treasury, Supply Chain, and Corporate Audit.
  
  Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Recognized accounting qualification (e.g., RA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP

• Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and financial reporting processes
