Role Description
As the Assistant Brand Manager, you will be the key owner of the brand’s full marketing mix (6Ps: Product, Pack, Price, Place, Promotion, and People). You’ll support end-to-end brand management—from concept development and innovation to full-scale launch. Reporting to the Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the brand’s growth strategy, ensuring the brand remains competitive, relevant, and profitable across markets.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and execution of the brand’s innovation pipeline, including new product launches, renovations, and harmonization across markets.
- Developing and delivering brand toolkits covering communication, packaging, in-store visibility (POS/TSS), and campaign assets that resonate with consumers and drive engagement.
- Tracking and analyzing brand performance, including market share, distribution, promotional effectiveness, and profitability. Adjust strategies based on insights to drive consistent growth.
- Owning the brand’s profit and loss, ensuring both top-line and bottom-line growth through efficient product and pricing decisions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize sourcing, manufacturing, planning, and logistics, aiming for competitive cost structures.
- Applying a social-first mindset by tapping into consumer trends, influencer collaborations, and digital-first activations to keep the brand culturally relevant and engaging.
- Ensure the brand's activities align with broader heartbrand strategies and contribute to seasonal campaigns, visibility toolkits, and overall category growth.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills to assess brand and portfolio performance and identify opportunities.
- Solid understanding of brand marketing, product development, and consumer engagement.
- Experience in managing full marketing mix (6Ps), particularly in FMCG or similar industries.
- Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end, from concept through to launch.
- Commercial acumen and experience with P&L ownership.
- Familiarity with supply chain dynamics and ability to influence efficiency across sourcing, production, and distribution.
- Social media and digital marketing savvy; able to identify cultural trends and activate them meaningfully.
- Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and guide local markets on execution.
