Role Description
Our client is hiring an Equipment Inspection Specialist to lead inspections across critical units. You'll ensure equipment safety and compliance by applying expert knowledge of codes, standards, and industry best practices within the chemical sector.
Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of pressure equipment, documenting results and advising on corrective actions.

Develop and implement inspection and testing plans aligned with industry standards.

Supervise contract inspectors to ensure compliance and quality.

Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and incident investigations tied to mechanical failures.

Provide technical training to internal staff or contractors.

Monitor compliance with safety and regulatory protocols during inspections.
Requirements

Valid IKK Level 3 Certificate (Inspection Specialist or Expert).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in boiler or equipment construction within the petrochemical or chemical industry.

Strong understanding of RTOD and PRD regulations.

Knowledge of ASME VIII-1 and ASME B31.3 codes.

Proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written).

Competence with MS Office and digital inspection tools.
