The company

Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

Role description

As Regional Supply Chain Planner (Europe) you will manage S&OP processes and improve the Unit Forecasting with European sales affiliates


• Lead S&OP meetings with sales affiliates for the European region
• Conduct forecast analysis & reviews, identify improvements and work with sales affiliates to improve Unit Forecasting which is key input to the Supply Chain Planning process
• Serve as key point of contact for sales affiliates on supply planning to the market
Assemble and manage the demand plan:
• Assemble the weekly/monthly regional demand requirements plan, i.e. the conversion of the forecasted sales netted against the available Finished Drug Product (FDP) inventory
• Manage the supply requirements from the production sites, and to local warehouses in Europe
• Interpret how demand changes impact the supply chain (scenario analysis)
Inventory & Sales monitoring:
• Manage FDP inventory within inventory guardrails ensuring sufficient stock to prevent supply risks while minimizing scrap exposure
• Monitor sales development versus forecast and assess potential inventory impact of deviations (supply risk or scrap risk)
• Coordination with Site Planning on timely availability of production batches
KPI Measurement and Continuous Improvement:
• Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and FDP inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, FDP inventory plan vs. targets, out of stocks, FDP scrap)
• Identify areas for improvement; lead operational excellence initiatives / process improvement projects


• Bachelor / Master degree in Supply Chain Mgt or Business Studies
• Familiar with supply chain planning concepts
• 3-5 years work experience in an industrial environment
• 3 years experience with ERP planning system
• Advanced experience in using Excel

Other information

• Experience in GMP environment
• Experience in S&OP planning processes
• Kinaxis RapidResponse experience
