The company

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is a smaller bakery firm producing for the retail and foodservice industry for several countries within Europe, both A-label and private label.

Role description

Due to the departure of the QA Manager, the company is looking for a temporary replacement until a successor starts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a good audit result for the BRC/IFS audit in September. You will manage a team of 4 QA Officers and report to the Plant Manager.

This is a temporary assignment for 6 months, starting as soon as possible but definitely before August 1st. The assignment will be for a minimum of 3 days per week. Please be aware that if a permanent replacement is found earlier, the assignment may be terminated earlier, but it will definitely run until the end of September.

- Ensure continuity in the level of quality.
- Prepare for and successfully complete the BRC and IFS audit.
- Manage a team of 4 QA Officers.


- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, Food Quality Management, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance in a production environment within the food industry.
- Experience with BRC and IFS audits.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
